<edit>By procrastinating my 1000 word essay i havent started on, due in three days, i have tried my best to edit a few things according to the crit i received [8D;;] Okay okay okay... I AM studying for real now.. orz;;</edit>
W-w-w...what am i doing while i have all this homework?... orz
Mixed around with Photoshop and Sai this time//<3 The brushes are really smooth~. This is the first picture that's completed with sai, that's not a speedpaint. [but then again, the bg is practically speedpainted OTL]
It was originally Miku fanart-some-what-inspired by Makoto Shinkai;; A bit messy, and not a detailed as i planned it to be, but i think it turned out okay since i am a pink-tard [:'DDDD]
btw, i always re-use the same dress design in my pictures for some reason OTL SPEAKING OF SPRING. THE SPRING ANIME TIMETABLE SUCKS. I was sooo looking forward to Pandora Hearts, Tayutama and Higurashi three, but they are all so-so. I looked around and my watch list is only around 5 series; [which is small to the usual 10]
K-on, Hetalia and Eden of the East are win though. I miss jigoku shoujo.. and, and.. NATSUMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE [;_;] I will study for real this week, so I'm taking a hiatus until things clear up;
and I will get though those who wanted a visit eventually --!!.
I personally think that even including shadows, the area around the inside of the cherry trees should not be that dark~ But I really love how you did the petals, scenery and plants!! They look quite accurate to the actual version of them in real life. But I also think that the width of her leg may be a bit too big, unless you intended for that. But I love how you made the reflections on her dress, the design of her dress and the patterns on it! ^.^
Though maybe you could make her mouth and nose stand out a bit more, and since the cherry petals seem to be blown towards the right side, I think that her dress should be blown more in that direction. And the face, on the left side, seems to be a bit off... maybe you coloured a bit outside your lineart? Though I really feel as if this scene is... very calming and it impacts me a lot. But the lighting is really good!! You're an amazing artist as of now, after seeing your other works, so I guess you don't need this critique, but...
I'm honoured to have the chance to critique your work, Namie!!
This is just so beautiful.This makes me want to jump in the picture with her,and walk.I think you could of made the hair pop out more,just so it doesn't blend in to much.And to be honest,I couldn't figure out where,what is it called??...pupils I think,were they where at.They look like (something random here) alien eyes.That's the only think on here that I could really say was not matching the picture.I hope none of this sounds mean.I don't like being mean with other people's artwork.I always look for the good part in someone's artwork,no matter how crappy it may be.Yours is far from crappy!! It's beautiful.It was the first thing that caught my attention,when I was looking at cherry blossom pics.)
Here goes anyway:
