For judging I will need to contact everyone and there will be some behind the scenes stuff... (seriously how are we supposed to judge everyone's amazing efforts, this is overdrive) I am not giving a date when the winners are announced. But I will follow the timeline mentioned before.
A question about edits- minor edits are allowed. For example changing of levels/channels or if you forgot to colour one bit. Big changes means that regardless of the time you entered I will move your entry to the late folder. I've capped all the submissions!

Update: There have been a lot of people asking for an extension with this contest... And I'll feel really horrible to decline when people are working hard! ;_;
That's why i will give extra even though I said I wouldn't- a whole 3 days to be generous.
Submission deadline is closed! People who have contacted me with problems can upload their work in the spare folder. Late submissions in the late folder. Thank you! However submissions to the featured folder will still close tonight.
After midnight tonight, I will make use a separate folder for submission of late entries. You can still enter the contest however entries in the late folder, separate to the featured folder will not be up for any raffle prize. Hopefully that is fair!
The new deadline will be the 17th midnight, (17->18). Here is a countdown clock Please keep in mind there will definitely be no more extensions, because this stretches me for deadlines too!

THEME____________________
The theme for this contest is crossover. Crossover, where the touhou universe is mixed with another series, theme or idea! You don’t have to stick with fictional, Japanese series, it could a film, it could be something real, fairytales, crossing each individual touhou game themselves or touhou in an alternate universe (eg, where everyone are school students, idols, etc). It could be touhou project drawn in a certain style, like... uh, spongebob style...! Really, just be creative!
I chose this theme because it’s one of my favourite things to do with any series I’m a fan of. It can create really entertaining pictures!

________________SPECIFICS___________________
Must represent one or more touhou characters and reflect the theme in a way.
Full colour. Digital and/or traditional is fine- either way it should look ok if printed.
The size is US letter (8.5"x11") with 3mm bleed all around, at least 300dpi (use template provided below if too confusing) Make sure this high resolution is available, you don’t need to upload it a big file onto DA it just needs to be available if we ask for it.
Landscape and portrait is accepted, whatever suits you!
You don’t need to convert colours to CMYK(printing colours), just RGB(the default for most programs) is completely fine!
Only one submission per person- so make sure you put your all into it! If you would like to update your piece with a newer one, the older one will be taken out
Here is the template for the page size! It’s important to extend your piece to the purple border(bleed) but the piece itself should look fine stand alone if anything lying in the purple border were to be cut off. In other words, cover the whole canvas, but make sure nothing important or crucial is in the purple
I am not stopping you from signing your piece or uploading it watermarked but if I ask for a high quality resolution from you, I ask that it's free from watermarks! You can use your entry for personal prints, merch whatever. I'm not fussy about these things. Of course, if you win I won't use your piece for anything else but being printed in the book.
I'll remind once again to get the size specifications right! Otherwise if you win it will be harder to print properly.

Besides analysing the aesthetics of the piece with all the fancy composition, colour, space, arty terms ect- with a theme like crossover, this is your chance to be witty! That’s why how you execute ‘a crossover’ will play the biggest part in judging. Making a lovely picture will give you a lot of points but having a unique idea will make you a geni⑨s!

Nendoroid figures are made by the famous and highly regarded Good Smile Company, pricey too. Cirno is very adorable and customisable in many ways, this figure comes with a lot of extra bits!
Nendoroid Petite: Touhou Project Set #1
Featuring Reimu, Aya and Suika. These are smaller miniatures of the nendoroids- and come in a set of three! The touhou petite sets are limited edition, aren't manufactured any more and are getting harder and harder to find!
Nendoroid Petite: Touhou Project Set #2
Featuring Marisa, Alice and Patchouli- both set 1 and set 2 completes the touhou petite set. (The box on this one is slightly damaged- it was the only one I could get my hands on, but the figures inside are untouched and perfect condition)
Set of PhantasmScreen Plushies
Reimu, Marisa and Sanae. These super cute plushies are discontinued and not sold any more- I was only able to get this through private contacts (I will send you new and unopened, My plushies have been used for photo)
Marisa Nendoroid Plushie
These expensive, high quality collector plushies are big, wired and pose-able! The hat can also come off. (I am still waiting for this to arrive so i'll update the photo when it I get it)
First place gets to choose 3 out of 5 items. Runner up and public’s choice award will choose 1 item respectively and in that order.
A further 3 copies of the book will be given out as a raffle prize, they will also be sent out early- before preorders are sent. Just by entering you have a chance of winning!

- I really mean it when I say touhou wiki is a touhou bible.
- Touhou has a lot of characters, almost 100 from the new games alone. If you want to stand out, pick different from the mains that most would pick like Reimu or Marisa- though they are lovely options too. You can draw more than a single character of course.
- Think of smarter ways to “crossover”. Putting a character in a random outfit can be nice and all, but for example; if you can match a personality or a look by crossing over, that’s more powerful!
- A brief artist description of your piece can give us more insight, especially if one of us do not understand the crossover, it’s recommended you give us one!
- Think of ways to make your piece stand out! Having said that, if you crossover with something really obscure, judges may not understand the crossover at all!
